These are of course in addition to lots of fresh fruits and veggies! The VNB Team's fresh produce staples usually consist of dark leafy greens like spinach or kale, broccoli, peppers, carrots, cucumbers, lemons, limes, avocados, apples, bananas, and fresh berries. The more colorful you eat, the more nutrients you're consuming!
If you're just starting out, try not to get overwhelmed. A lot of these items are things vegans only buy a few times a year. You don't need to go out and get everything at once, unless you want to! Start with a couple of recipes that look good and see what they require. Once you start making more vegan dishes, you'll see that the same pantry ingredients repeat often.
